At the completion of this ritual, Lilith, Daughter of Hatred, returns to the world of Sanctuary setting up the events of Diablo IV. At BlizzCon 2019, Blizzard announced Diablo IV, the next installment in the Diablo franchise, with an epic cinematic called 'By Three They Come.' In this 9 minute reveal, we see a group of adventurers unwittingly perform a blood ritual with the assistance of a mysterious pale figure.
